Privacy Policy
Effective 28 August 2026 · Last updated 28 August 2026
This policy explains what Miller's Academy collects, why, and what we do with it. It is short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Your email address and a password. Needed to give you an account. Passwords are stored hashed — we cannot read yours.
- Your enrollment record. Which access code you used and when you enrolled.
- Your journal entries. The trades, notes, and figures you choose to write into the trade journal.
- Basic technical logs. Our host records standard request information such as IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.
We do not collect your name, address, phone number, date of birth, or any brokerage credential. We never see your brokerage account, your balance, or your real positions unless you type them into your own journal.
Payment information
When course payments go live they will be handled by a third-party payment processor. Card numbers go directly to that processor and are never stored on our systems. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded.
What we do with it
We use your information to give you access to what you paid for, to sync your journal across your devices, and to email you about your enrollment. That is all. We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who else touches it
- Supabase — stores your account and journal data.
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and serves it to your browser.
- Netlify — hosts the trade journal application.
- Google Fonts — the typefaces on our pages load from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
Each of these is a service provider processing data on our behalf, not a party we sell anything to.
Cookies and tracking
We use browser storage to keep you signed in and to hold your journal data locally between visits. That is functional, not advertising. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics pixels. If that changes, this policy changes first and enrolled students get an email.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and journal data for as long as your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we delete the account and its journal data. Some records of a purchase may be retained where the law requires it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete your account and data, or export your journal entries. Email us and we will action it. There is no charge and we will not ask why.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with row-level access rules, so one student's data cannot be read by another. No system is perfectly secure. Use a password you do not use anywhere else.
Children
Miller's Academy is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date at the top and email enrolled students.
